Europcar has reinforced its position as a major supporter of cycling in Australia, coming on board as the naming rights sponsor of the Most Competitive Rider Jersey in next year’s Santos Tour Down Under – the first race on the UCI WorldTour road cycling calendar.
The sponsorship follows Europcar’s association with the Tour de France and support of local events such as Around the Bay in a Day and Amy’s Gran Fondo.
The Santos Tour Down Under is the largest professional cycling race in the southern hemisphere with a calendar of associated events to create a week-long festival in South Australia.
The 2013 Santos Tour Down Under will be staged from January 20-27.
