Europcar names new UK MD
Europcar has appointed a new management team to drive UK growth following its acquisition of National Car Rental earlier this year.
John Leigh, formerly head of the National UK business, has been appointed managing director of the combined organisation.
Marie Barry, who previously headed Europcar in the UK, has taken up the role of deputy MD, working alongside him.
Leigh said both organisations have “enormous synergies in terms of their heritage, their strong service ethic and the quality and commitment of their people”.
Since the acquisition in March, Europcar’s network comprises over 5,300 rental outlets in 160 countries.
