Eurotunnel delays enter second day

Tuesday, 8 July 20143 min read

Eurotunnel passengers are facing a second day of timetable disruption following damage to a cable yesterday.

Eurotunnel has apologised for inconvenience as UK passengers booked to travel on Le Shuttle are told to expect a waiting time of approximately three hours.

The operator said: "Our passenger service is currently operating with some timetable disruption, this is due to a technical fault in the Tunnel which is in the process of being resolved."

Eurostar cancelled four services this morning and has offered affected passengers refunds or ticket exchanges.
