A former Palm Springs hotel employee has been convicted of installing a hidden camera inside a guest bathroom.
A jury found Oscar Patino-Aguilar, 32 guilty of charges including burglary.
He had already pleaded guilty to attempting to use a concealed recording device.
Patino-Aguilar showed a group of women to their room at the Baymont Inn & Suites and later returned to install the hidden camera in the bathroom.
He was discovered inside the room when one of the guests returned from the hotel pool and the hidden camera was later spotted by the guest.
The court heard Patino-Aguilar was then detained in the hotel lobby and initially denied any wrongdoing but was found to be in possession of receipts for surveillance camera purchases along with jewelry and counterfeit money.
He is due to be sentenced on June 8.
