Ex-HRG head joins Etihad in UK

Etihad Airways has appointed former HRG international business group head Clive Wratten as UK country manager.

Before joining HRG, Wratten was UK general manager for Gulf Air where he was responsible for restructuring the airline’s UK brand, marketing strategy and distribution model.

The airline’s sales and service executive vice president Geert Boven said: “The UK is one of the most strategically important markets for Etihad Airways and Clive’s extensive experience and expertise will make a significant impact on our growth there.”

Wratten has also held the positions of UK corporate sales manager for Qantas and multinational business development manager for British Airways.
