MyTravel has appointed Karen Kidd as commercial director for MyTravel TV – its digital television channel which is due to launch later this year.
Ms Kidd previously worked for Littlewoods where she was responsible for the launch of its TV shopping channel, interactive TV services and websites.
MyTravel e-commerce director Jon Hart (left) said: “We are committed to satisfying all of our customers’ leisure travel needs. That includes their choice of whether to purchase leisure travel in-store, on the phone, via the web or on TV.”
Mr Hart claimed that the launch did not involve any “significant additional investment” because it uses the same technology as the MyTravel website.
