Ex-TQ3 boss joins Amex
Former TQ3 Travel Solutions president and CEO Marc Hildebrand has joined American Express.
He becomes vice-president, general manager for Central Europe from November 1, based in Frankfurt.
Hildebrand will report into David Herrick, vice-president, head of business travel, EMEA. Winfried Barczaitis takes up the new role of vice-president, Eastern Europe, reporting to Hildebrand.
Herrick said: “Marc brings a wealth of industry experience and will play a vital role in continuing to strengthen our presence in the important Central European region. We have already made some excellent progress with our business in this region, which includes some of our largest customers.
“It is a critical element to the overall success of our business in Europe and we are therefore looking to provide a more concerted effort and focus on becoming the market leader, in which Marc will play a key role.”
