Tata Sons announced former Turkish Airlines chairman Ilker Ayci will become the CEO and MD of Air India. Ayci takes over by April 1, 2022.
Tata regained control of Air India last month after acquiring the state-run carrier from the government. Ayci had been with Turkish Airlines since April 2015. Ayci said he was ‘ delighted and honoured’ to be appointed.
