Expedia names new GM for South East Asia and India

Global online travel agency Expedia has announced the appointment of Simon Fiquet as general manager for South East Asia and India.
 
Fiquet will be based at the firm’s Singapore office and report to Jonathon Neal, CEO of AirAsiaExpedia.
 
He was previously APAC head of Google Travel responsible for building trade relationships with online travel agents, hotels, airlines and meta-search engines.
 
Fiquet also served in various sales positions in Europe for Google.
