Fashion chief to speak at AWTE anniversary bash
Kim Winser will be the guest speaker for the Association of Women Travel Executive’s 60th anniversary event at the Marriott Grosvenor Square on July 14.
Winser, who started her career at Marks & Spencer’s, was chief executive at Pringle in 2000, president and CEO of Aquascutum in 2006, before becoming the chairman of Agent Provocateur in 2009.
She launched her own clothing label, Winser London, in 2013, a brand aimed at likeminded businesswomen fronted by supermodel Yasmin Le Bon.
Awarded an OBE in 2006 for services to the fashion industry, Winser devotes a significant amount of her time into advising and encouraging aspiring businesswomen to help them achieve their goals.
She was also awarded the ‘Inspirational Award of the Year for Business’ 2013.
