Iconic auto brand Ferrari has announced plans for a Ferrari-branded theme park in China.
The Italian sports car manufacturer signed a non-binding agreement with China’s Beijing Automotive Group Co and BAIC Eternaland Property Co to construct and operate a Ferrari theme park.
Details are scant at the moment but it would be sited near a ‘primary city’ in China.
Ferrari opened its first Ferrari World theme park outside Abu Dhabi in the UAE five years ago, which has been a great success.
It was awarded the Middle East’s leading tourist attraction at the World Travel Awards in 2015.
Ferrari is also constructing a second park in Spain.
