Fiji welcomes first foreign tourists
Fiji has welcomed its first international tourists for nearly 20 months.
The first scheduled flight carrying international travellers arrived from Sydney.
In November, Fiji began opening for fully vaccinated diplomats, returning Fijians and permit holders.
Fiji’s has a ‘Travel Partner Countries’ list which includes low risk markets Australia, New Zealand and the US. Tourists from these partner countries must be fully vaccinated, stay for three nights in a Care-Fiji Certified hotel and take a Covid test.
