Fiji’s Blue Lagoon Cruises increases island pick ups

Wednesday, 26 Jun, 2007 0

Blue Lagoon Cruises has added Fiji’s two newest island resorts – Amanuca Island Resort and Likuliku Lagoon Resort – to its list of exclusive Mamanuca Island pick-up points.

The move means even wider options for those travellers looking to combine a Mamanuca Islands resort stay with one of the boutique cruise operator’s four or seven-day ‘Gold Club’ programs in Fiji’s remote Yasawa Islands.

The pick-up points are available for Blue Lahoon Cruises’ passengers staying at Amanuca Island Resort and Tokoriki Island Resort (with departure from Tokoriki), Castaway Island Resort, Likuliku Lagoon Resort and Malolo Island Resort (with departure from Malolo), Mana Island Resort and Matamanoa Island Resort.

Blue Lagoon Cruises is the only Fiji cruise company to offer this service, its fleet of shallow draft vessels enabling close to shore transfers in sheltered coves.

The exclusive pick-up service represents a saving of around AUD100 per person on the standard transport fees incurred travelling between the Mamanuca Islands and Blue Lagoon Cruises’ home port of Lautoka.

It also saves time – up to eight hours in transfer and waiting time enabling passengers to enjoy the best part of an extra day at their resort.

Prices for a four-day/three night ‘Gold Club’ cruise lead in at AUD1399* per person twin share.

The seven-day/six-night ‘Gold Club’ cruise is priced from AUD1949* per person twin share.

Cruise activities include daily shore excursions and cultural experiences including village visits, bush and beach walks.

Water-based activities include snorkelling safaris, glass bottom boating and the option to try Fiji’s latest sports craze, saltwater fly fishing.

Program highlights include complimentary champagne and Hors d’œuvres at sunset on the first night onboard as a prelude to a ‘Captain’s Welcome’ dinner.

Cultural experiences include a ‘Lovo’ feast, Kava ceremonies and a day spent at Blue Lagoon Cruises’ private island of Nanuya Lailai.

*Conditions apply. Please note prices do not include beverages, international airfares or mainland/island accommodation.

Prices are valid until 31 March 2008.
