Finalists announced In the 2007 HM Hotel and Accommodation Awards

The finalists in the 2007 HM Awards for Hotel & Accommodation Excellence have been announced, with all thoughts now firmly set on the gala dinner to be held in Sydney on August 17.

A record number of entries were received in 2007 and following hours of voting by judges, the finalists have been announced for 38 of the 39 record categories to be awarded this year.

Key properties and industry people across Australasia and the South Pacific are now vying for awards at the gala presentation dinner on Friday August 17 at the University of Sydney.

HM is proudly hosting the awards, while co-hosts of the event include the HMAA, Hirum, ahs Hospitality and the Blue Mountains Hotel School, with Getaway presenter Catriona Rowntree returing to MC the event, expected to be in front of over 400 industry guests.

Finalists in 38 categories have been announced, while a new award – the HM Magazine Hotelier of the Year – will be revealed at the gala presentation dinner.
