Finnair launches special fare for new Japanese ski route
Finnair has launched a special Economy Class fare for its new ski route to Sapporo in Japan.
Flights launch on December 15 and will operate twice a week from its Helsinki hub, with connections from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin.
The non-stop service to Sapporo, Finnair’s fifth destination in Japan after Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka, will take around nine hours.
"We’re particularly excited to launch our new route to Sapporo, which will offer Finnair customers even greater choice with quick and convenient connections via our Helsinki hub to some of Japan’s best-known ski resorts," said the airline.
Finnair is the only European carrier to operate to Sapporo.
A special promotional fare of £619 return is available to book until December 3 2019, for travel between January 2 and March 27, when the seasonal route ends.
