Five more bodies found near Concordia
Five more bodies have been found near the capsized Costa Concordia.
According to Italian authorities, they were found between the wreck and the sea bed.
Since the ship hit rocks off the Italian island of Giglio on January 13, 30 bodies have been found. Two people remain missing, presumed dead.
The news came as the cruise line confirmed that removing the ship from the sea could take up to a year.
The cruise line said the complex operation will take between 10 and 12 months depending on which company wins the tender to carry out the work.
The defueling of the Costa Concordia is expected to be finished tomorrow (Friday).
The removal of the oil from 17 tanks of the ship began on February 12.
Once fuel has been removed, experts will focus on cleaning up the seabed and the area around the hull.
