Flexibletrips replaces brochures with mini-guides
Flexibletrips is replacing its annual brochures with mini guides and claims it will save over 87 tonnes of paper.
The dynamic packaging specialist has launched the first in a series of mini guides, which will also be available to download online to encourage agents to only use the quantities they need.
Flexibletrips head of sales Stephen Vaughan said thei guides would be “a refreshing change in direction” which would provide agents with more “relevant and timely information, based on booking patterns, allowing us to adopt a more flexible and targeted approach”.
Guides will feature ideas for specific types of breaks at certain times of the year, such as Christmas shopping, flexible ski destinations, Valentine’s day breaks, and spa holidays.
“Far from simply being a cost cutting exercise, the resources saved will be used to create exciting new joint marketing initiatives with agents. In such a fast moving market producing a year round brochure is no longer practical and makes no economical or environmental sense,” Vaughan added.
