Flight attendant jumps to her death from hotel balcony
A flight attendant died at the weekend after jumping from the 17th floor of a hotel in Birmingham, AL.
The victim was named as Katherin R. Fiorentino, 33, of Rehoboth, MA.
According to her social media profile, she worked as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.
Hotel workers at Sheraton Birmingham Hotel were called after reports she was displaying ‘erratic behavior.’
After throwing her cellphone over a balcony wall she ran and jumped over the wall as hotel security were speaking to her.
She landed on a second-floor lounge roof and was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities said they are still investigating the incident.
