Flybe to offer Nice from March

Thursday, 26 Sep, 2006 0

No-frills airline Flybe is to start operating to Nice, from Southampton, from March next year.

The airline said the new route was part of its aggressive expansion plan throughout the UK and Europe.

To co-incide with the announcement, flybe has immediately put next summer’s schedule on sale, enabling passengers from Exeter, Southampton, Norwich, Guernsey and Jersey to book flights to European destinations from £31.99 one way, including taxes and charges.

Flybe chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: “The announcement of a new base in Nice is one of our most important to date, demonstrating our aggressive policy in the UK and across Europe.”
