Fred Olsen is putting 2008 inaugural cruises by new ship Balmoral on sale next week.

A brochure dedicated to the fifth vessel in the line’s fleet goes on sale on September 1.

The first cruise is a 14-night sailing to the Canary Islands from Dover on January 30, 2008 with a lead-in of £1,272 including a 40% early booking discount.

The vessel then becomes the first Fred Olsen ship to offer cruises from Miami between February and April 2008 before it repositions to Civitavecchia in Italy to run Mediterranean voyages from May to June 11 when Balomoral sails from Venice back to Dover.
