Travelport has secured a new distribution agreement with low cost carrier Frontier Airlines.
The airline will continue to offer its fares on Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform after its previous distribution agreement expired at the end of 2015.
The new deal is with immediate effect and for the ‘long term,’ according to Bill Florence, Travelport Americas senior corporate communications manager.
The Travelport Travel Commerce Platform is accessible at 68,000 travel agency locations worldwide and aggregates fares from more than 400 global airlines.
About 100 are low cost carriers, Chris Engle, Travelport’s vice president of air commerce, Americas said.
Denver based Frontier flies daily to US, Mexico and Caribbean destinations.
