Germany lifts travel ban from UK
Germany has softened its tough rules on travel from the UK. People travelling from the UK to Germany can skip quarantine if they are fully vaccinated. Additionally, the quarantine period for unvaccinated people is reduced to five days pending a negative Covid test.
The quarantine period had previously been 10 days for all. Germany downgraded the UK to the second-highest level – ‘high-incidence area.’
Germany remains on the UK’s amber travel list.
