GHM heading back to Thailand with Chedi Aquarius Koh Chang
Aquarius International Development (AQI) has unveiled its first project Aquarius Residences & Resort, Koh Chang.
It will house a collection of luxury pool villas and condominiums, as well as luxury Chedi resort.
General Hotel Management Ltd. (GHM) will manage the development which comprises an all-day restaurant, a cliff-edge restaurant, a rooftop bar, spa, infinity pool, and conference facilities.
It also includes 200 key luxury resort the Chedi Aquarius Koh Chang.
Guests and residents have access to private boat transfers to AQ Privilege Beach Club & Residences, Koh Man Nai, situated on an exclusive private island.
It marks a return to Thailand for GHM.
"For some time now, we’ve been on the lookout for exactly the right blend of attributes; the right setting, partner and the right ambition, so that we might touch down again in Thailand with the Chedi brand," said Tommy Lai, Chief Executive Officer of General Hotel Management Ltd.
The development is scheduled to open in three phases starting from 2022.
Sales are now open for the 23 Pool Villa Residences.
The development is owned by Norcal Venture Capital Group Limited, which is moving forward with a a comprehensive five-year business plan encompassing luxury resorts, residences, yacht charters, F&B services and bespoke online travel booking and membership services, said NVC Managing Director, Edward Chi.
