Global Travel appoints manager for the south
The Global Travel Group has appointed Marie Macdonald as sales and business development manager for the south region.
She joins from from Groupe Pierre et Vacances, replacing Joanne Briggs.
Before that, MacDonald also worked for TUI Travel and British Airways Holidays.
In her new role, she will report to Global commercial director Cherie Richards and will be responsible for strengthening the company’s relationships with its members and developing key new accounts.
The Global Travel Group is a travel consortium with 400 travel agent members and is part of Stella Travel Services UK.
