GoEuro seeks travel partners
GoEuro officially launches today, allowing travellers to compare and combine air, rail, bus and car transport within Europe.
The launch comes just three months after GoEuro secured $4m in seed financing from Battery Ventures and Hasso Plattner Ventures.
GoEuro earns revenue through revenue sharing agreements with travel partners on ticket sales.
Launch partners include Deutsche Bahn, Rail Easy, Eurolines and Rentalcars.com, as well as Expedia and Opodo for flights.
The company is in now integrating additional partnerships across Europe and is actively seeing new ones.
At present, the site mainly covers travel within the UK and Germany but options in more countries will be expanded over time.
Travellers can search to and from any location in Europe, including small towns and villages.
They are given detailed journey plans and the best options for different modes of transport based on travel time and price.
