Good airports to avoid this summer

Friday, 20 Jun, 2006 0

What will be the most crowded US airport this summer?

Good candidates include Los Angeles International Airport, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Chicago’s O’Hare, which has more passenger than anywhere else in the country.

USA Today suggests travelers avoid hubs if at all possible.

They also suggest using Philadelphia instead of Newark Liberty, JFK or LaGuardia.

The newspaper also recommends using Baltimore/Washington International over Dulles or Reagan National Airport.

Also, book flights early and avoid late afternoon flights when thunderstorms are most likely to come up.
