Grip on UK online cruise market tightened by Traveltek
Traveltek, provider of cruise technology to the online community, has secured further accounts wins.
The company’s cruise product is now being operated by 37 out of the top 40 major UK cruise agents.
Cruise Saver by Bathtravel, Cruise Network by Fred Olsen, Directline Holidays and CruiseInStyle are the latest firms to have signed up to use the Cruise platform that covers more than 50 cruise lines.
Traveltek’s cruise dynamic packaging platform – Cruise Voyager – is designed to allow agents to earn higher margins than standard cruise packages, with management tools to set the margins of each element of the tour (flight, hotel, transfer and cruise-only). Cruise1st is a recent user of the dynamic packaging tool.
The technology supplier’s managing director Kenny Picken said: “We are extremely proud of our new contract wins and its great to see that these new clients recognise the endless opportunities for growth in the cruise and cruise dynamic packaging online market even in these turbulent economic conditions.â€
