Several hotel guests have been taken to hospital after a suspected carbon monoxide leak at a central London hotel.
Fire and ambulance services were called to the hotel in Tavistock Place early this morning and a total of 20 people were treated for possible carbon monoxide exposure.
Eight have been hospitalized, including two children.
None are thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
‘We sent four ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team,” London Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
“The property was evacuated as a precaution after people were taken ill,” a Met Police spokesperson said.
