Hainan Airlines has finally secured US regulatory approval to fly to Las Vegas.
Hainan’s vice president Hou Wei announced non-stop service from Beijing will begin on December 2
The service will initially operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using Boeing 787 Dreamliners with 36 business class and 177 economy class seats.
It become’s Sin City’s first ever direct flight to the China mainland.
Initial fares have been launched starting at $650 including taxes and fees and are live on the carrier’s website now.
China is one of Nevada’s key tourism markets and is both the fastest growing and largest-spending segment.
Both new build and existing casino resorts have been targeting the market with ‘China ready’ services and specific amenities aimed at Chinese visitors.
Caesars Entertainment’s portfolio of hotels in Las Vegas this week launched direct bookings on China’s leading communications app WeChat, which boasts about 800 million Chinese users.
