HAL launches 2026 Alaska season

Holland America Line has released for sale its Alaska cruise program for 2026.

Running from April to September 2026, the program features voyages sailing roundtrip from Vancouver, Seattle, or between Vancouver and Whittier-Anchorage.

Itineraries range from seven to 28 days and include an Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice sailing and a new 14-day Great Alaska Explorer voyage roundtrip from Seattle.

Six ships will offer Alaska cruises: Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam.

The line’s 2026 Cruisetours, which combine a cruise with an overland tour to Denali National Park and journey up to the Yukon, will be available to book shortly.

For the first time in more than five years, Westerdam will cruise to Alaska from Vancouver and Noordam will sail roundtrip from Seattle.

Highlights of the 2026 season include:

A new 14-day Great Alaska Explorer cruise, roundtrip from Vancouver and Seattle. Noordam’s August cruise from Seattle and Westerdam’s September cruise roundtrip from Vancouver will visit Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Sitka and Valdez, along with Prince Rupert, British Columbia and Glacier Bay scenic cruising.

The 28-day Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice cruise on Noordam returns for a third year, departing June 7, 2026 in time for the summer solstice. It sails roundtrip from Seattle to the Bering Sea and into the Arctic Circle, visiting 11 Alaska ports.

Dan Rough, HAL’s VP of revenue management, said: “We continue to build an Alaska program that is deeply immersive.”

The 2026 season features the ‘We Love Alaska’ program, which immerses guests in Alaskan culture via onboard programs featuring expert-led workshops and lectures.

Every Alaska cruise also includes a scenic visit to the region’s glaciers.

Holland America has been sailing to Alaska for more than 75 years.
