More than 200 flights have been cancelled at Hamburg and Cologne airports on Friday as security personnel walked off the job at two airports in a wage dispute, AP reports.
Frankfurt and Munich, Germany’s main hubs were not affected.
These "warning strikes" were staged after the union and employers reached a stalemate on negotiations last week. The union wants a 30 percent pay rise while employers have offered a 9% increase.
