Hampton opens 17 hotels in two months

Hampton has opened 17 properties in April and May of this year, many of them in Mexico and Latin America.

“In our recent openings, we are continuing to see growth for Hampton in the Latin American region,” said Phil Cordell, senior vice-president, Hampton brand management. The hotels represent 1,537 new rooms.

He said the next step for Hampton is the introduction of their new bedding package featuring a crisp, white duvet cover and jumbo size pillows. The new bedding package, which is already available in almost 75% of all Hampton hotels. will be available in all hotels by year end 2006.
