The Times newspaper has named Thomas Cook chief executive Harriet Green as business person of the year.
Business editors of the newspaper said there were many examples of outstanding leadership in the corporate world in 2013, but had chosen Green for her "achievement in turning around Thomas Cook".
Since she joined in July 2012, Green has been credited with transforming the group.
In November Thomas Cook achieved its first operating profit in three years.
