Has your salary gone up?
Last month, TravelMole reported the good news that average salaries and job vacancies in the travel industry are both on the rise.
Latest figures from C&M showed that after a slight fall in March, travel job salaries rebounded strongly in April to rise by 1.44%.
Year on year, salaries have risen 15%, although the three-month average figures (which commonly produce a more reliable indicator of recent trends) showed a gentler rise of 8% year on year.
So, in our latest TravelMole Poll, we thought we’d find out if you were reaping the benefits of this trend.
We asked you: Travel salaries rise again – has yours?
In response, 38% of you said "yes", but sadly 62% of you said "no".
For those of you who said "no", perhaps now’s the time to ask your boss the question. Good luck.
