Hawaii is extending statewide Covid restrictions for another 60 days. Hawaii Gov. David Ige said emergency orders mandating masks and restricting some travel would continue. It mandate the wearing of masks in indoor public spaces.
New daily cases continue to rise, Ige said, so continued restrictions are necessary. About 68% of the state’s population are fully vaccinated.
All travelers must be fully vaccinated or present a negative Covid result to avoid a 10-day quarantine.
