Hawaii has outlined a timeline for lifting all travel restrictions over the coming weeks. It begins by removing restrictions on inter-island travel and when it reaches 60% of residents vaccinated, the vaccine passport program will be expanded to all travelers vaccinated anywhere in the US.
Then, when the state reaches 70% vaccinated, all travel restrictions will end, Gov. David Ige said. So far, just over 50% of Hawaii residents have been fully vaccinated.
