China travel specialist Helen Wong and members of her staff last weekend clocked up laps in the annual Hills Relay for Life fund-raising event for the Cancer Council of New South Wales.

The team added much-needed dollars to the weekend tally of more than $300,000.

The main prize was a $6000 trip for two to China, donated by Helen Wong Tours, the China specialist of 26 years. Helen Wong also donated $2000 on top of the prize.

"Every sore muscle counted for something special in this relay," she said.

The suburban Sydney event was led by a number of cancer survivors and their carers.

The Helen Wong team comprised Philip Ahmed, Helen Wong, Mike Smith, Kathleen Chan, Maryanne Perera and Ben Zaubzer.
