Hertz introduces early booking discounts
Hertz Europe has launched a new advance booking discount for its online customers.
It is offering them 20% discounts by booking 30 days in advance and up to 10% by booking a minimum of 21 days in advance.
The offers are available across 10 European countries including the UK and Spain.
Rentals must include a Saturday night or a minimum of five days.
The move follows a recent survey by Hertz, which revealed that over 60% of European travellers would book their holidays early to save money.
The findings also showed that in the credit crunch, 58% of travellers are more likely to do their own online research to find the best deals, with more holidaymakers also opting to build their own DIY holiday rather than pay for a package holiday.
These figures were based on a poll of 1,368 Europeans in April.
