Hilton appoints new global marketing chief for luxury brands

Hilton has named Sumindi Peiris as global marketing head for its portfolio of luxury brands.
As vice president of global marketing, luxury and lifestyle brands, Peiris will lead marketing, digital and public relations functions, as well as global positioning for Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and Canopy by Hilton.

Peiris most recently served at Johnnie Walker Reserve in Singapore as vice president and global director.
Prior to that she gained brand management experience at major consumer brands including Unilever and LVMH.
