Hoax bomb threat sparks panic at SpiceJet office
A hoax bomb threat caused panic at Indian airline SpiceJet’s offices.
A man sent the bomb threat by phone to the office in Gurugram.
He said a bomb had been planted in the office and would explode very soon.
It was evacuated and searched by a bomb disposal team.
It turned out to be a hoax threat.
Staff were allowed back into the office after two hours.
“No bomb was found after a search operation,” police said.
“We have put the number of the unidentified caller on surveillance and a further probe is underway.”
