Holiday Experts expands into Ireland
Homeworking company Holiday Experts is to launch in Ireland.
The move comes a week after it was announced David Elstob had joined the company’s parent, Your Holiday Booking, with a brief to expand the homeworking division.
Wendy Aitken, an ex-homeworker and former general manager for Thomas Cook Retail, has joined the company as head of recruitment and training in Ireland.
Agents will receive the same benefits package as the UK, including free set up of telephones, IT systems and training; central administration for accounting and documentation; free personalised websites and e-marketing.
In addition, the company will contribute 50% towards selected marketing activity to help agents grow their databases and inclusion on free educational and conferences.
Dynamically packaged holidays can be arranged under the Irish licence and bonding of Best 4 Travel, of which Your Holiday Booking Group CEO, Peter Healey is a board member.
Best 4 Travel is an established chain of agents with a presence in selected shopping precincts in and around Dublin.
Healey said: "Best 4 Travel will operate to the same business model as Your Holiday Booking.
"Our consumer marketing activity will feed calls to the homeworkers.
"This sector is relatively unexplored in Ireland, so we expect this will appeal to agents who are looking for change but still require a sustainable income and support to grow a new business."
