Airport parking operator Holiday Extras is expanding its portfolio to offer its customers Park2Travel, the closest off-airport car park to Dublin airport’s terminals.
HX has partnered with Park2Travel to expand its offering in Ireland, giving Dublin airport customers an additional 6000 spaces a six-minute drive from the terminals.
Launching at just €90 for 8 days’ parking from March 10th, Holiday Extras customers booking Park2Travel will save €30 compared to the airport’s best gate rate.
Holiday Extras says last year it saved UK customers more than half a billion pounds vs the price they’d have paid for airport parking on the gate.
Likewise, it saved more than €300,000 for almost 7,000 Irish customers.
The company recently announced several European expansions, including the acquisition of Dutch airport parking leader QuickParking, the launch of a new airport car park in Munich and an investment in Amsterdam-based airport transfers provider Transferz.
Just last week, it acquired ParkCare, a European parking comparison business.
Simon Hagger, Chief Business Development Officer at Holiday Extras, said, “We’re delighted to expand our European parking portfolio again.”
“As the closest off-airport car park to the terminals at Dublin, we expect people heading off on holiday to get from the car park to the door in about six minutes, and save some of their holiday money.”
Park2Travel is an APCOA brand.
APCOA Ireland’s Managing Director, Neil Cunningham said, “We wanted to offer our Dublin off-airport parking through Holiday Extras so our customers could take advantage of the convenience of booking through their app. We’re very happy to be working with them in Ireland.”
