Holland America appoints new trade communication director

Holland America Line has named Denella Ri’chard as new director for trade communication and engagement.
Based at HAL’s corporate office in Seattle, Ri’chard is responsible for travel agent partner support globally, with a focus on the North America market.
"Denella’s impressive sales and marketing credentials, combined with her outstanding presentation skills, will be a tremendous asset to the Holland America Line organization. We’re delighted to welcome her to our team where we can utilize her knowledge and expertise to effectively communicate with our travel professional partners," said Joe Slattery, senior vice president, global marketing and sales.
She will oversee all HAL trade communications, the PartnerShips website and HAL Academy.
Ri’chard was most recently at Norwegian Cruise Line where she served as director of global product management and also previously worked in global and partnership marketing management at Hilton Worldwide.
