Hot Deals didn’t end with Black Friday
Black Friday and Cyber Monday broke sales records but there remain “Hot Deals.” Orbitz.com, for example, is offering a $50 coupon for anyone who books a trip by Dec. 1 for travel by Jan. 15 of next year. “It’s a great offer because there are no blackout dates including Christmas and New Years,” said Jeanenne Tornatore, a senior editor. The coupon is good towards three-plus night flights and hotel packages to a choice of destinations in California, the Caribbean, Europe, Florida, Hawaii and Mexico. Users need to plug in the promotion code ORBITZHOLIDAY. Users can also combine the coupon with other discounts such as a free night at a hotel or room or suite upgrade. Also on Orbitz, bookers will find a “Cyber Monday Sale” that is extended until this weekend for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. The hotel chain is offering savings of up to 30 percent off at more than 200 properties in North America or the Caribbean. Users have to book their stay by Dec. 2 and complete their travel by April 30, 2012.
