TravelStoreMaker launches new system aggregating multiple major hotel consolidator offerings into a single source
With the emergence of numerous global hotel providers such as GTA, Travco, Tourico, Booking.com, Hotels.com and a plethora of others, consumers and travel agencies have greatly benefited by the choice, low rates and online booking capability.
However, the abundance of suppliers has created a sense of confusion among the travel agency community.
“All providers have different conditions, we cannot possibly sign five or six letters of credit, one with each provider” says Stavros Malamas, owner of the Greek travel agency Solnet Hellas. “For this reason, in the past we selected one for office operations and another for our online business.”
CEO of TravelStoreMaker.com John Hazlewood said: “We saw an opportunity to aggregate the aggregators. In order to offer rich hotel content, the travel trade is forced to work with multiple providers, which disperse the generated volume and as a result agencies are not in position to benefit from the volume incentives.
“One provider is strong in Greece, another in the US, and another in Western Europe or the Middle East, but there is no single provider that has the best prices in every market in the world.
“We have taken this into consideration and came up with a universal product called CenTransit hotels.”
CenTransit hotels is an aggregator of hotel consolidators and other aggregators, aggregating the content of more than 30 independent hotel providers, which the travel trade can use as a single product, signing only one agreement with TravelStoreMaker.com.
Agencies can sell hotels using CenTransit Hotels which is a web based desktop application to be used by their agents or corporate accounts or as a B2C application via their websites.
According to Stavros Malamas, the internet has made the travel market very dynamic. He said: “In order to stay afloat in these difficult economic times, agencies must find relevant sources of content at the lowest possible prices without having to use multiple systems in order to optimize their cost of labour. We welcome a solution of an aggregator of all aggregators.”
“What makes CenTransit Hotels unique in the market is not only the more than 30 integrated hotel consolidators but a proprietary database so an agency that has direct deals can include their own content with the other 30 plus suppliers.
Hazlewood said: “This is a revolutionary product and there is no solution on the market like CenTransit Hotels.”
CenTransit Hotels includes inventory from major consolidators such as Booking.com, Hotels.com, Hotelbeds, GTA, Kuoni, Miki Travel, Boscolo, Restel, Jumbo, Youtravel, Travelasia, Hoteldo, Allied Tpo, Access USA, AOT, Azor, City Hotel Rooms, Comtec, Destinations of the World, Multicom, GoGlobal, RoomsXML, Escape2travel, Exclusively Hotels, Holiday Brokers, Jonview, Mark International, Open Destinations, Viajes Urbis, Bonotel, Hoteldo, JAC, IHG, Tanshotel, Medhotels, Choice Hotels, Tourico and Travco. The basic start-up package starts at E200 per year.
