HotelConnect launches into Far East

Saturday, 01 Jun, 2005 0

The increasing popularity of Hong Kong and Bangkok as short break destinations has prompted HotelConnect to launch into the Far East.

The supplier will offer around 15 hotels in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok with Kuala Lumpur expected to follow within two months. Properties will range from three to five star deluxe and feature Dusit, Amari and Shangri-La chains.

HotelConnect partnership manager Corin Wakeford said the expansion follows increasing demand from both agents and consumers.

“The Far East is becoming an increasingly popular short break destination and is the next obvious step to take,” he said. Other destinations will follow later in the year, he added.
