A bomb threat forced a flight from Berlin to Hurghada to be diverted to Budapest on Monday.
Condor flight DE490, an Airbus A321, left Berlin at 9:22am local time and landed at 11:42 in Budapest after the call was made.
Witnesses said emergency vehicles were sent to meet the plane when it landed.
The airline, a subsidiary of Thomas Cook in Germany, said the aircraft was searched by authorities and no explosives were found.
It sent a replacement aircraft, a Boeing 757, to take the 133 passengers and seven crew to the Egyptian resort.
The A321 has since resumed flying and Condor apologised for the inconvenience.
Last month, a flight from Warsaw to Hurghada was also diverted after a bomb scare.
The pilot of the Small Planet flight requested an emergency landing and the plane was diverted to Burgas Airport in Bulgaria.
