Hyatt Regency Mumbai temporary closes
One of Mumbai’s landmark hotels has been forced to close due to a cash crunch. Hyatt Regency Mumbai management said there are no funds available from hotel owner Asian Hotels to pay salaries or support the operations of the hotel.
It said a decision was taken to temporarily suspend operations with immediate effect. "The hotel will remain closed until further notice," it said. The five-star hotel is located near Mumbai’s international airport.
