IHG reshuffles EMEA sales and marketing team
InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Rick Harvey Lam to the newly-created role of vice president commercial for Continental Europe.
Christopher Hale joins as the new VP marketing and commercial EMEA and Karin Nielsen has become VP brand development and delivery for the region.
The team completes a restructuring of the EMEA sales and marketing operation which comes into full effect from January 1.
Rick Harvey Lam joins on December 15 from Center Parcs Europe where he was marketing director Europe.
Christopher Hale has joined from Collinson Group. He formerly worked for British Airways and for Telewest Communications, now Virgin Media, as marketing director.
Karin Nielsen has joined the renamed brand development and delivery team from IHG’s Asia Pacific operation where she was most recently regional director of sales and marketing.
