India gets a taste of Down Under
Global retailer, Shoppers Stop, is hosting a three-week ‘Down Under Fest’ showcasing Australia across all its stores in India from tomorrow, its Vice-President Ajith Joshi informed today.
‘Down Under Fest’ was the retailer’s biggest celebration of the year, hosted with the support of Qantas Airways,Tourism Australia,The Australian Trade Commission,Thomas Cook,and Rio Tinto.
Customers would have the opportunity to experience the flavour of Australia while shopping.Showcasing local artists such as Ken Done and Kendall Perkins, visitors would also be entertained by characters from the Dreamworld theme park, along with the Sydney Showboat dancers.
Shoppers Stop Vice-President Ajith Joshi said today that the highlight of the festival was that lucky customers stood a chance to win an exciting holiday in Australia. Thomas Cook was offering special discounts and offers to Shoppers Stop customers to book package holidays to Australia.
